Bass drum exercise

Hello friends! 🥁 Bass Drum Exercise

Today, I'm sharing a new video focusing on strengthening your right foot on the bass drum in five steps.

Step 1: Start by playing a groove that feels comfortable for you. It’s important to begin with something familiar to get used to the movement and feel.

Step 2: Add sixteenth-note bass drum kicks on the first quarter note. This helps develop your timing and foot control.

Step 3: Add sixteenth-note kicks on both the first and second quarter notes. This step builds consistency and speed.

Step 4: Add sixteenth-note kicks on the third quarter note as well. Now, you’ll start to feel the full dynamic and rhythm.

Step 5: Add sixteenth-note kicks throughout the entire measure, while keeping the snares on 2 and 4. This is the most challenging step but also the most rewarding. Strengthening your right foot is essential for precise and fast drumming, so it’s worth putting in the effort! #DrumLesson #Drumming #DrumPractice #DrumLife#Drummer #MusicEducation #DrumGroove #MostralStudio
